Kanta Bosniak is an author, artist, coach and interfaith minister with over 40 years experience as a spiritual growth teacher.
Kanta is a nationally recognized expert on what she calls “Abundance Triggers” : using art, interior design and other anchors to enhance positive focus. She has had solo shows in PBS and NPR radio galleries, at UNCW, Omega Institute and Edgar Cayce’s Association for Research and Enlightenment. Group shows have included both the Perspectives and Armory Galleries at Virginia Tech, liturgical art shows, churches, and galleries throughout the East Coast.
Kanta’s altar art in collaboration with Diane Porter Goff was included in the book, Beautiful Necessity, which profiled inspirational women artists. Her work appeared in “RAW VISION”, once voted the “Best Art Magazine” by UNESCO and also appeared on HBO CINEMAX and PBS television film The Gospel According to Jesus. She was twice Artist-in-Residence at Omega Institute. Collectors of Kanta’s art include a Nobel Prize Winner, an Emmy-winning producer, a popular television actress, several authors, a U.S. National champion athlete and people of all walks of life. Distinguished vistors to her exhibits have included Governor Mark Warner.
Book publications include the book Surviving Cancer and Other Tough Stuff, Lose Weight in Alpha State, Abundance Triggers, The Becoming Process: A New Paradigm for Life Change, and Love Poems. Audios include Guided Meditation CDs and Audible Audiobooks Surviving Cancer: A Sacred Journey for Women, Lose Weight in Theta State,and Abundance Triggers: A Journey of Self- Discovery, Surviving Cancer: A Sacred Journey for Men, Sweet Dreams! Guided Imagery for Peaceful Sleep, and “Sweet Dreams for Kids! Guided Imagery for Peaceful Sleep, all with music by her son, Joshua Bosniak.
Kanta’s magazine publications include feature articles in Om Times, SageWoman, Magical Blend, Tidewater Women (cover interview), Point of Light, The Edge, Oracle 20/20, Studies in Education, and many more.
Kanta is a frequent speaker in both secular and spiritual settings, radio and television. She presents workshops at colleges, universities, educational institutions, churches and holistic centers throughout the country. She is an award-winning member of the National Guild of Hypnotists and has served on the faculty of the NGH Conference and AAEH Conferences.
Additional speaking venues include Columbia, SUNY New Paltz and Yale Universities in conjunction with “Colleges Against Cancer” and the American Cancer Society. Kanta is a complementary service provider and facilitator of workshops for staff at Good Samaritan Hospice in Christiansburg VA and presenter at Radford University’s “Emerging Therapies” course for nursing students.
Kanta holds Master Level certifications in Hypnosis, Spiritual Coaching and Reiki. Additional energy certifications and trainings include Sechim, Tapping and Reconnective Healing. She is listed in Who’s Who of American Women.
